PEMBAHASAN

Passive Voice

Passive Voice adalah kalimat pasif di mana subjek menerima tindakan sedangkan objek melakukan tindakan.

Untuk nomor (1), dan (2)

Nomor (1) menggunakan bentuk Simple Present Continuous Tense, sedangkan untuk Nomor (2) menggunakan bentuk Simple Past Continuous Tense. Apa bedanya?

  • Simple Present Continuous Tense digunakan untuk mengungkapkan suatu pekerjaan/peristiwa yang sedang berlangsung di masa sekarang, sedangkan Simple Past Continuous Tense digunakan untuk mengungkapkan suatu pekerjaan/peristiwa yang sedang berlangsung di masa yang sudah berlalu.

Pattern: Passive Voice

  • (+) S + to be + being + V3 + by + agent + C
  • (–) S + to be + not + being + V3 + by + agent + C
  • (?) To be + S + being + V3 + by + agent + C + ?

Untuk nomor (3), (4), dan (5)

Nomor (3) menggunakan bentuk Simple Past Tense, sedangkan untuk Nomor (4) dan (5) menggunakan bentuk Simple Present Tense. Apa bedanya?

  • Simple Past Tense digunakan untuk mengungkapkan suatu pekerjaan/peristiwa yang dilakukan di masa yang telah berlalu. Sedangkan Simple Present Tense digunakan untuk mengungkapkan suatu pekerjaan/peristiwa yang dilakukan di masa sekarang di mana kegiatan ini dilakukan secara berulang-ulang, terus menerus atau sudah menjadi suatu kebiasaan.
